2025 Updates

  • Many alumni joined us for our Fall 2025 AMEP Get-Together including:
    • Craig Heberer (graduated 1981)
    • Dan Koellen (graduated 1979)
    • Yufan Xu (graduated 2017)
    • Cary Forest (graduated 1986)
  • This year’s recipients of the AMEP Leadership Prize are Arushi Patil, Henry Miller, and Spencer Kwan
  • Patrick Walsh (2025 graduate) received an award from the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program
  • Michael Zhao received the Hilldale Undergraduate/Faculty Research Fellowship for his work with Professor Saverio Spagnolie in the AMEP Lab

2024 Updates

  • This year’s recipients of the AMEP Leadership Prize are Achintya Krishnan (2024 graduate) and Patrick Walsh
  • Mitchell Stachowiak received the DoD SMART Scholarship
  • Amitabha Shatdal was inducted into UW–Madison’s chapter of Phi Beta Kappa
  • Harry Luo received the UW–Madison Undergraduate Scholarship for Summer Study to conduct research at the Quantum Photonics Lab in Nanjing, China

2023 Updates

  • This year’s recipient of the AMEP Leadership Prize is Ayodeji Lawal (2023 graduate)
